For the district's agricultural products to achieve high yield and good quality, from the beginning of the year, the District People's Committee has directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to guide cooperatives and farmers in the district to apply good agricultural production processes, link production according to value chains associated with quality standards, food safety, and growing area codes, packaging facility codes according to the requirements of the domestic and export markets, promote the construction and development of high-tech fruit production areas, safe agricultural product supply chains, etc. propagate and guide farmers to adjust production, apply techniques for caring for and harvesting off-season agricultural products, spread out the crop, review raw material areas, and encourage the establishment of production cooperatives according to agricultural products' production, consumption, and export chains. Especially for mango, longan, and banana products, which are products with large areas and output, the district focuses on guiding cooperatives and farming households to produce according to VietGap standards. Up to now, the whole district has 104 hectares of mango, 122 hectares of longan, 407 hectares of banana with growing area codes; 45 hectares of mango, 40 hectares of longan, 80 hectares of banana with VietGAP certification, and 20 hectares of hawthorn with organic certification.

In addition to production that meets standards, the district has directed specialized departments to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and towns to promote and encourage enterprises, cooperatives, and farming households to participate in propaganda, promotion, and introduction activities of typical products with competitive advantages of the province, focusing on agricultural and food products, coordinating with specialized agencies under the Department of Industry and Trade to provide information on markets, regulations, export standards, and customs clearance status at border gates so that agencies, units, and People's Committees of communes and towns can support enterprises and cooperatives to adjust their production and business plans accordingly.

The development of the industry of preserving and processing agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products encourages the development of deep processing, refined processing, and high-tech processing industries. The district also focuses on developing supporting industries and services to increase added value and competitiveness. Currently, in the district, there is a factory for preserving, processing, and producing agricultural products, Ban Cop, Muong Bu commune, of Musa Green Joint Stock Company, which is in the process of assembling the production line and is estimated to be operational in the second quarter of 2025. The factory has a designed capacity of preserving from 4,000 to 6,000 tons of agricultural products per year, producing 1 million m³ of banana fiber and using an average of 5 tons of bananas per day to produce banana powder and banana products, etc. with total expected revenue of nearly 560 billion VND per year.

With a detailed consumption plan for each type of agricultural product, the efforts of enterprises, cooperatives, and households, Muong La district aims to connect and consume all agricultural products in the 2025 crop year. Specifically, the district plans to consume 28,600 tons of fruit domestically and export about 3,400 tons of fresh bananas and 1,000 tons of mangoes to China.

In the context of an increasingly volatile agricultural market, the district's proactive production, development, and implementation of consumption and export plans. Hopefully, Muong La district's agricultural products will continue to be well received, and the district will complete its consumption and export targets.
