(en.sonla.gov.vn) On May 16, 2025, Mr. Sergio Narea Guzman - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam and the working delegation paid courtesy visits to leaders of Son La province. Welcoming and attending the courtesy visit to the delegation. On the side of Son La province, there was comrade Trang Thi Xuan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, leaders of several departments and branches of the province.
Ms. Trang Thi Xuan presented flowers to welcome Mr. Sergio Narea Guzman - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam and the working delegation.At the reception, Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, warmly welcomed the Ambassador and the working delegation who visited and worked in Son La province. At the same time, she quickly informed the Ambassador of some outstanding achievements in the province's political, socio-economic, defense, and security situation and issues that the delegation was interested in. With some information exchanged about the economic potential, especially the agricultural development of the province, along with the field visit of the Ambassador during this working trip to the province, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped to help the Ambassador better understand Son La province so that he could propose cooperation between the locality as well as Chilean enterprises with Son La province in the coming time.

During this visit and work, the Ambassador wishes to learn more about and strengthen the relationship, to be a bridge for investment cooperation in the province, especially in the fields of agricultural development, agricultural product, fruit export, etc., and contribute to the development of the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Chile.
