At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province and the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry of Hua Phan province exchanged and quickly informed about the situation and results in the implementation of coordination work on forest protection, development, and fire prevention and fighting in the border areas of the two provinces. In implementing the coordination work in the past time, the two provinces have directed specialized forces to regularly organize propaganda and mobilize people in border communes and villages to raise awareness of forest protection and development, focusing on guiding people to use fire at the right time; sign commitments to protect forests in villages and communes; fight to prevent acts of encroachment on forests. Build and add prohibition signs and propaganda billboards in key areas in border communes. The functional forces of both sides also regularly organize patrols and inspections, promptly detect, coordinate, support, prevent, and strictly handle violations.

Also, at the Conference, the two sides discussed and agreed on several cooperation contents in forest protection, development, and forest protection, development, and forest fire prevention and fighting (PCCCR) in the Son La - Hua Phan border area in the coming time. Accordingly, the two sides will continue to frequently exchange information on forest protection and development, forest product management, and forest fire prevention and firefighting to ensure timely and accurate unified direction between the two sides and build a communication regime at each level.
