Suoi Chieu Lake is an irrigation project with a water surface area of over 64.7 hectares and a capacity of over 4.36 million cubic meters of water, with a total investment capital of over 114.3 billion VND. From 2012 until now, the lake has provided water for 800 hectares of agricultural land, provided domestic water for over 42,900 households, and has also been a picturesque landscape in Phu Yen, attracting a large number of tourists for visiting and experiencing. According to the evaluation, the project remains stable overall, with the water intake structure in good condition and normal operational capability, achieving Safety Class 2 standards.
This is a project funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) with the goal of improving the ecological environment and addressing climate change for Son La province, Vietnam. It contributes to the specific implementation of France's commitments to sustainable development goals "for a shared world."
